E911 / Emergency Services Disclosure

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

  1. Important Notice About Emergency Services

Emergency calling services (including 911 or E911) using wireless service provided by USA Mobile, LLC (“USA Mobile”) may differ from traditional landline service.

Emergency services depend on the availability of the wireless network, device capability, and your location at the time of the call.

You should not rely solely on wireless service as your only means of contacting emergency services.

  1. How E911 Works

When you dial 911 from a compatible device using USA Mobile service, the call is routed to the appropriate emergency response center based on available network information.

Location information may be provided to emergency services using one or more of the following:

  • Network location data
  • Cell tower information
  • Device location capabilities
  • Registered service address (if applicable)

Location information may not always be accurate.

Emergency responders may need you to provide your location verbally.

  1. Situations Where E911 May Not Work

Emergency calling may not be available or may be limited in situations including, but not limited to:

  • No wireless signal or coverage
  • Network outages or congestion
  • Device malfunction
  • Power failure
  • Damaged or inactive device
  • Account suspension or expired prepaid balance
  • Use of an incompatible device
  • Use outside the United States
  • Service interruptions caused by third-party networks

Emergency calls may fail or be delayed under these conditions.

USA Mobile may use authorized carriers, platform providers, and other contracted vendors to provide wireless service, and emergency call routing may depend on those providers.

  1. Wi-Fi Calling and Internet-Based Calling

If your device supports Wi-Fi calling or internet-based calling, emergency calls may be routed differently than traditional wireless calls.

When using Wi-Fi or internet calling:

  • Location information may not update automatically
  • Emergency services may not receive your exact location
  • You may need to provide your address verbally

Wi-Fi calling may not function during:

  • Internet outages
  • Power outages
  • Router failure
  • Network congestion

Do not rely on Wi-Fi calling as your only way to contact emergency services.

  1. Device Compatibility

E911 functionality depends on your device.

Some devices may not support:

  • Location services
  • Wi-Fi calling
  • Network-based location
  • Emergency routing features

You are responsible for ensuring your device is compatible with the service.

  1. Account Status and Prepaid Service

USA Mobile primarily provides prepaid wireless service.

Emergency calling may be affected if:

  • Your account is inactive
  • Your plan has expired
  • Your balance is depleted
  • Service has been suspended
  • Service has been terminated

Emergency calling may not work if the device cannot connect to the network.

  1. Third-Party Networks

USA Mobile provides service using authorized third-party wireless networks.

Emergency call routing depends on those networks.

USA Mobile does not control emergency service availability.

Network providers, public safety agencies, and local authorities control emergency response systems.

Emergency services functionality is subject to applicable FCC regulations, carrier rules, and public safety system requirements.

  1. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Keep your device charged
  • Maintain active service
  • Keep location services enabled if available
  • Provide your location to emergency responders when asked
  • Use compatible devices
  • Maintain current account information

Failure to do so may prevent emergency services from working correctly.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, USA Mobile is not responsible for:

  • Failed emergency calls
  • Delayed emergency calls
  • Incorrect location information
  • Network outages
  • Device failures
  • Third-party network issues
  • Internet or Wi-Fi failures

Emergency services depend on many factors outside the control of USA Mobile.

  1. Changes to This Disclosure

USA Mobile may update this disclosure as required by:

  • FCC rules
  • Carrier requirements
  • Regulatory changes
  • Service changes

Updated versions will be posted on the website or portal.

Continued use of service means you accept the updated disclosure.
