Applies to: USA Mobile services and all services operated on the USA Mobile platform, including partner-branded or powered-by USA Mobile offerings
- Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes permitted and prohibited uses of wireless service, websites, applications, and related services provided by USA Mobile, LLC (“USA Mobile,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
This policy applies to all customers using services provided by USA Mobile, including services offered under partner-branded or powered-by USA Mobile programs. USA Mobile, LLC operates the wireless service platform and maintains the subscriber relationship for all services delivered on the USA Mobile platform unless expressly stated otherwise.
This policy is intended to protect:
- Customers
- The wireless network
- Other users
- Service providers
- Emergency services
- Regulatory compliance
Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of service.
- Scope
This policy applies to use of:
- Voice service
- SMS / MMS messaging
- Data service
- International calling
- Websites and portals
- Applications
- Devices used with the service
- Partner-branded services powered by USA Mobile
This policy applies whether the service is used on:
- USA Mobile branded plans
- Partner-branded plans
- Promotional plans
- Bundled services
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
USA Mobile primarily supports Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your device:
- Is compatible with the network
- Is unlocked if required
- Meets technical requirements
- Is in working condition
USA Mobile is not responsible for:
- Costs related to incompatible devices
- Device unlocking fees
- Device repairs
- Lost or damaged devices
- Charges from other carriers
- Any device not purchased directly from USA Mobile
No refunds will be issued due to device incompatibility.
- Lawful Use Only
You may use the service only for lawful purposes.
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Commit fraud
- Harass or threaten others
- Send illegal content
- Distribute harmful material
- Interfere with emergency services
- Circumvent network security
You must comply with all local, state, federal, and international laws.
- Fraud and Abuse
You may not use the service for fraudulent or abusive activity, including:
- Identity theft
- Credit card fraud
- Account manipulation
- SIM swapping abuse
- Unauthorized account access
- False information during signup
- Bypassing billing systems
USA Mobile may suspend or terminate service to prevent fraud.
- Spam, Robocalling, and Messaging Abuse
You may not use the service to send:
- Spam messages
- Bulk SMS without permission
- Robocalls
- Auto-dialed calls
- Recorded messages without consent
- Telemarketing without authorization
- Phishing messages
- Scam messages
Use of the service must comply with:
- FCC rules
- TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)
- Anti-spam laws
- Carrier rules
USA Mobile may block or suspend accounts involved in messaging abuse.
- Network Protection
You may not use the service in a way that harms the network.
Prohibited uses include:
- SIM farms
- Call routing services
- Resale of service
- Commercial gateways
- Excessive automated traffic
- Network interference
- Signal jamming
- Unauthorized tethering devices
- Use of modified equipment
USA Mobile may limit, suspend, or terminate service to protect the network.
USA Mobile may use authorized carriers, subscriber-management platforms, billing systems, cloud providers, security providers, and other contracted vendors to operate the service, and service availability may depend on those providers.
- Excessive or Abnormal Use
Plans are intended for normal consumer use.
Prohibited use includes:
- Continuous call forwarding
- Continuous streaming designed to avoid limits
- Using service as a server
- Machine-to-machine traffic without approval
- Use inconsistent with plan type
Unlimited plans may be subject to network management.
USA Mobile may slow, limit, or suspend service if usage affects the network.
- Device Requirements
You must use compatible devices.
You may not use:
- Stolen devices
- Modified devices
- Unauthorized firmware
- Devices designed to bypass network controls
USA Mobile is not responsible for device compatibility.
- International Use
International calling must comply with this policy.
You may not use international service for:
- Call resale
- Routing services
- Fraud schemes
- Traffic pumping
- Artificial traffic generation
International calling may be restricted at any time.
- Third-Party Services
Some plans may include third-party services.
You must follow the terms of those services.
USA Mobile is not responsible for third-party violations.
Violation of third-party terms may result in suspension.
- Child Safety and Responsible Use
Services are intended to be purchased and controlled by adults.
Services may be used by minors under parental supervision, and the account holder is responsible for all use of the service.
Account holders are responsible for:
- Monitoring use
- Device settings
- App usage
- Content access
Service may not be used to exploit, harm, or endanger minors.
USA Mobile may suspend accounts involved in unsafe or illegal activity.
- Security and Interference
You may not attempt to:
- Hack systems
- Bypass security
- Access other accounts
- Interfere with service
- Reverse engineer systems
USA Mobile may investigate security incidents.
- Carrier and Network Rules
Service operates on third-party wireless networks.
You must comply with:
- Carrier rules
- FCC regulations
- State laws
- Federal laws
- Emergency service requirements
USA Mobile may take action to comply with these rules.
- Suspension or Termination
USA Mobile may suspend or terminate service for:
- Violation of this policy
- Fraud or abuse
- Non-payment
- Carrier request
- Regulatory request
- Network protection
- Security reasons
Service may be suspended without notice when required.
- Changes to This Policy
USA Mobile may update this policy at any time.
Updated versions will be posted on the website or portal.
Continued use of service means you accept the updated policy.
