Network management practices and disclosures for USA Mobile.

Operator Disclosure: These policies, disclosures, and terms are issued by USA Mobile, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, and govern your use of the USA Mobile website and wireless services.

USA Mobile Network Policy

Applies to: USA Mobile wireless services, websites, applications, portals, partner-branded programs, and services powered by USA Mobile

 

  1. Introduction

USA Mobile, LLC (“USA Mobile,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides wireless communications services through the USA Mobile platform using authorized carrier networks, network platform providers, and related service vendors.

This Network Policy describes how USA Mobile manages network traffic, data usage, performance, and service operation in order to comply with:

  • Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Open Internet Transparency Rule (47 CFR §8.1)
  • FCC Broadband Consumer Label requirements
  • Carrier network requirements
  • Applicable federal and state law
  • Industry network-management standards

 

This policy applies to:

  • USA Mobile wireless services
  • Partner-branded services powered by USA Mobile
  • Websites, portals, and applications operated by or for USA Mobile
  • Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) services
  • Multi-line and family plans
  • Optional add-on services and bundled features
  • Domestic and international service usage

USA Mobile is the wireless service provider and MVNO operator for services provided on the USA Mobile platform unless otherwise stated.

Partner brands may offer services powered by USA Mobile, but the wireless service, network access, billing, and subscriber relationship are provided by USA Mobile.

  1. Underlying Network 

USA Mobile wireless service operates using authorized United States carrier networks.

  • Current primary network: AT&T
  • Additional carrier networks may be added in the future
  • Customers may activate service in all 50 United States
  • Coverage depends on the underlying carrier network

Service availability, speeds, and performance depend on:

  • Carrier coverage
  • Network congestion
  • Device compatibility
  • Location
  • Signal strength
  • Weather, terrain, and building conditions

Coverage is not guaranteed in all areas.

  1. Service Plans and Included Features

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable plan description or Broadband Label:

Plans include unlimited domestic talk and text

 

  • High-speed data is provided according to the gigabyte (GB) amount included in the plan
  • Unlimited plans may include high-speed data up to a specified usage amount
  • After high-speed data is used, speeds may be reduced
  • Tethering / hotspot availability depends on the plan
  • Some plans include hotspot limits
  • Some plans include international calling
  • Some plans include roaming
  • Some plans include add-on services or bundled features

Exact limits, speeds, and conditions are shown on the FCC Broadband Label for each plan.

  1. International Calling and Roaming

USA Mobile may offer international calling and roaming on certain plans.

International calling:

  • Unlimited calling to selected countries may be included
  • Additional countries may be available with monthly usage limits
  • Details are available on the International Calling page

International roaming:

  • Available on certain plans
  • May require prepaid credit in the customer Wallet
  • Charges are deducted based on usage while roaming
  • Rates vary by country and carrier

Domestic roaming may be available where supported by the underlying carrier.

Roaming service is not guaranteed.

  1. Network Performance and Speeds

Actual speeds and performance vary and are not guaranteed.

Factors affecting performance include:

  • Network congestion
  • Signal strength
  • Device capability
  • Location
  • Carrier network conditions
  • Weather or physical obstacles
  • Number of users on the network

Data speeds may be slower than those experienced by customers of the underlying carrier.

USA Mobile customers may be deprioritized compared to postpaid customers of the underlying carrier.

During periods of network congestion:

  • Data speeds may be reduced
  • Latency may increase
  • Streaming quality may decrease

Speed ranges and performance expectations are disclosed on the FCC Broadband Label for each plan.

  1. Data Usage and Unlimited Plans

Some plans are advertised as unlimited.

Unlimited plans may include:

  • A specified amount of high-speed data
  • Reduced speeds after the high-speed threshold is reached
  • Reduced speeds during congestion
  • Limits on hotspot usage
  • Limits on international usage

USA Mobile may limit, reduce, suspend, or terminate service if usage is excessive, abusive, or inconsistent with normal consumer use.

Examples include:

  • Reselling service
  • Running servers
  • Automated usage
  • Commercial traffic generation
  • Fraud or unlawful activity
  • Use that negatively impacts the network

  1. Network Management Practices

USA Mobile uses reasonable network-management practices to maintain service quality and network security.

These practices may include:

  • Congestion-based traffic management
  • Spam and robocall filtering
  • Fraud detection
  • Abuse prevention
  • Security monitoring
  • Network integrity protection
  • Emergency service prioritization
  • Compliance with legal obligations

These practices are applied in a nondiscriminatory manner consistent with FCC rules.

USA Mobile does not block lawful content, applications, or services, except as required to:

  • Protect the network
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with law
  • Enforce service terms
  • Protect customers
  1. Blocking, Filtering, and Security

USA Mobile generally does not block lawful traffic.

However, the following may occur:

  • Spam and robocalls may be filtered by the carrier network
  • Fraudulent traffic may be blocked
  • Malicious activity may be restricted
  • Network security protections may limit certain ports or protocols
  • Parental-control or security applications may be used by customers

Carrier networks may apply additional filtering or security protections.

  1. Device Compatibility

Customers may bring their own device (BYOD) if compatible.

Requirements:

  • Device must be compatible with the underlying carrier network
  • Device should be unlocked
  • IMEI compatibility check is recommended
  • Some locked devices may not work
  • Devices locked due to financing through USA Mobile programs may be supported

Tablets, wearables, and certain devices may not be supported at this time.

Device compatibility is not guaranteed.

  1. Hotspot and Tethering

Hotspot / tethering may be included depending on the plan.

Limits may include:

  • Monthly usage caps
  • Reduced speeds after threshold
  • Reduced speeds during congestion

Details are shown on the Broadband Label.

  1. Video and Streaming

USA Mobile does not apply video-quality restrictions unless stated on the Broadband Label.

Streaming quality may vary due to:

  • Network conditions
  • Congestion
  • Device capability
  • Carrier network policies
  1. Emergency Services and E911

USA Mobile supports E911 emergency calling.

When calling emergency services:

  • Location information may be provided
  • Network-based location may be used
  • GPS or device location may be used if available

Emergency service accuracy may vary.

  1. Law Enforcement and Regulatory Compliance

USA Mobile may comply with lawful requests from:

  • Law enforcement
  • Courts
  • Regulators
  • Carrier partners

This may include:

  • Call routing information
  • Subscriber information
  • Network records

USA Mobile complies with applicable legal obligations, including CALEA and FCC rules.

  1. Partner-Branded Services Powered by USA Mobile

USA Mobile may operate services under its own name or under partner brands.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • USA Mobile provides the wireless service
  • USA Mobile manages the subscriber account
  • USA Mobile controls network access
  • USA Mobile manages billing
  • Partner brands may offer marketing, applications, or add-on services

Partner programs may have additional terms or policies.

  1. Platform Providers and Network Vendors

SA Mobile uses authorized service providers to operate the network platform, including:

  • Carrier networks
  • MVNA / MVNE providers
  • Billing platforms
  • Provisioning systems
  • Fraud-prevention vendors
  • Customer-support vendors
  • Security providers

These providers process information only as needed to operate the service.

  1. Changes to This Policy

USA Mobile may update this Network Policy from time to time.

Updates will be posted on the website.

Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
